(\u201cHarvest\u201d) is pleased to announce that it has filed a preliminary prospectus with the Canadian securities regulators for the Harvest Premium Yield Canadian Bank ETF (\u201cHPYB\u201d) and the Harvest Premium Yield Enhanced ETF (\u201cHPYE\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HYPB provides investors access to a Canadian Banks equity portfolio seeking long-term capital appreciation, on a levered basis, utilizing an active option strategy designed to provide steady monthly cash distributions, while HPYE provides investors access to the same strategy on a broad portfolio of equities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investment Objective<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

HPYB will seek to provide Unitholders with (i) the opportunity for capital appreciation by investing, directly or indirectly, on a levered basis, in a portfolio of Equity Securities of Canadian banks; (ii) regular cash distributions; and (iii) lower overall volatility of portfolio returns than would otherwise be experienced by owning the securities held by HPYB, directly. To achieve lower overall volatility of portfolio returns and generate monthly premiums, HPYB will write covered call and\/or covered put options on the Equity Securities held in its portfolio. The level of option writing may vary based on market volatility and other factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HPYE will seek to provide Unitholders with (i) the opportunity for capital appreciation by investing, directly or indirectly, on a levered basis, in a portfolio of Equity Securities; (ii) regular cash distributions; and (iii) lower overall volatility of portfolio returns than would otherwise be experienced by owning the Equity Securities directly. OAKVILLE, Ontario (BUSINESS WIRE<\/a> | French<\/a>) \u2013 Harvest Portfolios Group Inc. (the \u201cManager\u201d) the manager and trustee of Harvest Banks & Buildings Income Fund (Series A, D, F and R) and Harvest Canadian Income & Growth Fund (Series A, D, F and R) (each, a \u201cFund\u201d and collectively, the \u201cFunds\u201d), is announcing the termination of the Funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Manager has determined that the small size of the Funds is not economically viable and that it is no longer in the best interests of the unitholders to continue the Funds. Accordingly, the Manager intends to terminate the Funds on about or July 7, 2025 (the \u201cTermination Date\u201d) in accordance with the declaration of trust of the Funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of May 7, 2025, the Funds will no longer be available for any new or subsequent purchases.<\/strong> Unitholders of the Funds will be able to redeem their units of the Funds up until and including July 4, 2025 and all units still held by unitholders after such date will be subject to a mandatory redemption as of the Termination Date. The final monthly distribution will be May 30, 2025 for Series A, D, F and R of the Funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On or before the Termination Date, the Manager will, to the extent possible, convert the assets of each Fund to cash and pay or make adequate provision for all of the Fund\u2019s liabilities. As of the close of business on the Termination Date, the net assets of each Fund remaining after paying or providing for the Fund\u2019s liabilities will be distributed to unitholders of the Fund on a pro rata basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unitholders are not required to take any action in connection with the termination of the Funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Details regarding the terminations will be mailed to unitholders of the Funds at least 60 days prior to the Termination Date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
